The health, safety, and happiness of our loyal guests and team members is our top priority — and we’ve been working hard to establish increased health and safety practices across the property. At Hotel Drover, we are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols for working to defeat COVID-19.
Consisting of in-house and outside experts in food/water safety, hygiene/infection prevention, and hotel operations, our Marriott Cleanliness Council is redefining our cleaning and safety standards. We will actively monitor and evolve our solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our guests and team.
To ensure a safe stay for our guests, you’ll find extensive sanitizing measures, frequent cleaning of public spaces, social distancing in all areas of the hotel, limited number of reservations accepted each night, mask requirements, and much more. No detail has been overlooked as we hold ourselves to an even higher standard of cleanliness.

Face Coverings
Face coverings are not enforced and may be worn at your own discretion.
Surface Areas and Public Spaces
In public spaces, all surfaces are treated with hospital-grade disinfectants and this cleaning is done with increased frequency. In guest rooms, all surfaces are required to be thoroughly cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants. Hotel Drover will also be placing disinfecting wipes in each room for guests’.
New enhanced cleaning technologies including electrostatic sprayers to sanitize surfaces are used throughout the hotel. We are also using air purifying systems that are effective against viruses in the air and on surfaces.
Guest Contact
To help alleviate the risk of COVID-19 transmission through person-to-person contact, you will find signage throughout the property to remind guests to maintain social distancing protocols and we will also remove or re-arrange the furniture to allow more space for social distancing. Hand sanitation stations will also be found throughout the Hotel Drover.
Food Safety
Food handlers and supervisors are trained on safe food preparation and service practices. Our food and beverage operations are required to conduct self-inspection using its food safety standards as guidelines, and compliance is validated by independent audits.
